Oral Presentations       Poster Sessions / LBP Poster Sessions

Oral Presentations

• The oral speaker will have 15 minutes to present your paper and 5 minutes for questions and comments. Speakers must keep on time to allow attendees to move among the concurrent sessions.
• Please use your PC for your presentation. Please confirm whether your PC can work before the start of your session (e.g., on break time).
• HDMI is prepared for connecting your PC in all rooms. Please prepare the HDMI connector by yourself.

Poster Sessions / LBP (Late Breaking Papers) Poster Sessions

Poster presenters must attend Fast-forward (FF) and Poster presentation sessions. Please check the poster ID here and follow the guidelines as described below:

Fast-Forward (FF) Guidelines

• Each presenter has a one-minute short presentation in this session. This session will start at 10:35 on March 12th in the F.C. Room.
• FF presentation files are collected in advance, and the committee will merge them. Presenters should follow the instructions below to create and submit the FF presentation file.
  • The PowerPoint file is 16: 9 widescreen.
  • Do not include the author’s name and title in your file. The committee will insert slides containing that information.
  • Set up an automatic slide transition on your PowerPoint application in the following ways: On the Transitions tab, in the Timing group, under Advance Slide, select the After check box, and then enter the number of minutes or seconds you want. The total time should be 1 minute.
  • The PowerPoint file name should be  “IEVC2024_FF_xxx-xx.pptx”. Change the “xxx-xx” part to your poster ID (not easychair’s ID).
  • Submit the file here (https://forms.gle/y61vDQG5irvVFLpW8) by February 29.
• Presenters should come to the room by 10:30 and line up in order of presentation.
• The committee will automatically play the slides in the FF session. Each presenter will make presentations.

Poster Session Guidelines

• Please prepare your poster in A0 portrait size (W 841 x H 1189 mm).
• The committee will provide rivets and other supplies. Posters can be displayed on the morning of your session. Posters must be removed after your session.
• Please check your poster session times from the program.
