Oral Presentations

Please note the following instruction for the preparation of your presentations:

• You will have 15 minutes to present your paper and 5 minutes for questions and comments.
• It is absolutely essential that speakers keep on time to allow attendees to move among the concurrent sessions.
• The session room will be equipped with a computer projection system.
• All oral presenters will be expected to make electronic presentations.
• It is recommended for presenters to use their laptop (notebook) computers.
• D-SUB (VGA) and HDMI connectors can be connected to the projector.
• Please make sure to bring a back-up copy of your presentation material on a separate storage system (CD-ROM or USB).
• Please note that Over-Head Projectors are not available.

Poster Sessions / LBP (Late Breaking Papers) Poster Sessions

There are three poster sessions: Poster fast-forward (short presentation) from 10:35 on 22nd Aug., Poster Session 1 from 10:05 on 23rd Aug. and Poster Session 2 from 9:00 on 24th Aug. The authors have ONE minute short presentation for fast-forward and one hour and half for poster presentation. Please check the poster ID here (changed on Aug. 6th), and follow the guidelines as described below:

Fast-forward Guidelines

• The authors briefly introduce their own research in one minute in Poster fast-forward.
• The authors must be ready for the presentation (PowerPoint file) and send the file by e-mail by 15th Aug. The e-mail address is described in the e-mail sent on July 26.
• The PowerPoint template file is here.
• We merge the slides sent from all poster presenters and automatically turn the slides. So you MUST set the timing in your PowerPoint file as all your slides finish in one minute although you can add any slides.
• You don’t need to make a title slide including author’s name and title. (We insert title slides after checking submitted slides.)

Poster Session Guidelines

• Ensure your poster is placed on the assigned wall board during your poster session.
• Tapes to put your poster will be provided.
• Stand in front of your poster during your assigned 90-minutes presentation time.
• Please remove your poster from the wall board by the Closing Session.

Poster Size

• Your poster width should not be bigger than 850 mm. We recommend A0 size (width: 841 mm x height: 1189 mm).
